News Trading
News trading is a strategy that involves making trades based on news and economic data releases. During periods of high market volatility, such as High-Impact News events, liquidity providers experience rapid price fluctuations. This results in situations where LPs cannot execute orders at the exact prices requested by clients, leading to significant price gaps between the order request and the actual execution price.
Our Policy
To protect client funds and minimize exposure to extreme price deviations, we strongly advise against opening and closing trades 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after major (red folder) news releases. This time window is particularly risky due to rapid market fluctuations, high volatility, and execution risks. During this time, the execution of stop losses, take profits, and trade entries may not be honored as expected due to slippage.
Disclaimer: Any profits earned in the critical time window mentioned above may be revoked, without any account suspension. In addition, any profits realized in the 20 minute high-risk time window from trades opened within 5 hours of the high-impact news event will also be subject to removal.
For example, a high-risk news event will be announced at 5 PM. If you open a trade between 12 PM and 5 PM and realize profits in the high risk window mentioned above, your profits will be subject to removal.However, if you open a trade during the 20 minute high-risk time window and close it several hours later, the profit won’t be affected.

During high-impact news events, we have reduced the maximum allowed lot sizes as shown in the table below:
